Having witnessed the March 1st Movement in Korea, he recognized the resilience and potential of the Korean people, firmly believing that freedom would eventually come to the Korean Peninsula. This belief kept hope alive during challenging times, and even during the Korean War, he emphasized the role of educational institutions in supporting students' education and societal contributions. These values continue to be reflected in the history and educational philosophy of Pai-Chai University
